This week we smashed our record for the number of PhD students in one event, delivering a workshop to over 150 BBSRC-funded researchers at their summer conference.
We started the session with some key concepts for designing visual abstracts, and a review of examples of best practice. Then, teams of 3 and 4 students followed a simple, guided process to develop and design their own visual abstract within 45 minutes.
The pace was frenetic, but the students produced some fantastic work….
This was a really fun session, providing some simple, structured tools for students to take away and use in their work. Thanks for having us NRPDTP!
